Prestigious Armwrestling Tournament "Golden Lion" 2024

Welcome to the registration for the unique international armwrestling tournament "Golden Lion," organized by the first armwrestling club in Bulgaria - "Lokomotiv 96"! Don’t miss your chance to be part of this event, which will determine your participation in the prestigious Arnold Classic in Ohio, USA.

Why participate?

The tournament serves as a qualification for the Arnold Classic in Ohio, USA.

Medalists in all men's categories will earn the chance to compete in the USA.

Travel expenses will be covered for the right-hand absolute category winner to Ohio.

The first two winners from each category are eligible to participate in the absolute category. If one of the two declines, the next in line will be eligible.

Prize Fund:

The total prize fund exceeds 8,000 BGN, to be distributed among the category winners.

Weight Tolerance: 500 grams

Participation Fee:

Juniors (up to 18 years old):
20 BGN for one arm
30 BGN for both arms
Men:
40 BGN for one arm
50 BGN for both arms
Women:
30 BGN for one arm
40 BGN for both arms
Masters:
20 BGN for one arm
30 BGN for both arms

IMPORTANT

Anyone who hasn't registered online or has provided incorrect information will pay double the participation fee.

Opening Ceremony:

November 9th, 2024: 10:30

Qualification Start:

Left arm: November 9th, 2024, 11:00
Right arm: November 10th, 2024, 10:00

Semifinals will be played during the qualification rounds.

Final matches will begin 30 minutes after the qualifications end.

NOTES:

The competition will be held on professional armwrestling tables with 20 x 20 cm elbow pads.
The tournament will follow a double-elimination format.
Age categories are determined by the year of birth, not the exact date or month.
